ORLANDO, Fla.—Orlando City SC revealed today that two major announcements in the club’s quest to become the next Major League Soccer (MLS) expansion club will be made on Monday, November 18 and Tuesday, November 19.

The first announcement comes on Monday involving long-time partner Orlando Health. Orlando City and Orlando Health have been partners since the club began play in 2011, with Monday bringing an exciting reveal to the future of soccer in Orlando. The announcement will be held at 2 p.m. inside the Orlando Health Heart Institute.

The second major announcement will be open to the public, with the club inviting all fans to the exciting downtown event. The announcement on the 19th will be a landmark day for the City of Orlando and the club’s pursuit to become a MLS franchise.

“We are excited to make these two big announcements next week, which will solidify Orlando as a soccer market for years to come,” said Orlando City President Phil Rawlins. “We encourage all of our fans to come out on the 19th, which will be a historic day for the City of Orlando!”

The Cheyenne Saloon is located right in the heart of the Downtown Orlando Sports and Entertainment District on Church Street near I-4.

Festivities on Church Street will begin at 5 p.m., including carnival games, music and other soccer-related activities. The first 500 fans inside the building will receive a free rally towel, and a voucher for a special purple beer (21+ only) upon entry.

The historic Cheyenne Saloon holds significance to the Central Florida area, including major concerts and events such as the announcement of Orlando as a host of the 1994 World Cup. Located right in the heart of downtown Orlando, the Saloon sits just a mile away from the location of the new, downtown soccer stadium.
