ORLANDO – December 18, 2014 – Orlando City Soccer Club today announced the newest member of its growing partner family – Papa John's. Ranking in at the top spot by the 2014 American Customer Satisfaction Index, Papa John's has signed a multi-year partnership as the exclusive pizza partner for the Club and its downtown soccer stadium, set to open for the start of the 2016 Major League Soccer (MLS) season.
Per Club policy, terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Through this partnership, City supporters will be able to celebrate the Lions' success on the field – receiving a 50 percent discount on orders the day after an Orlando City win.
In addition, an Orlando City Youth Soccer (OCYS) team will have the opportunity to win a Papa John's pizza party and private practice session with two Orlando City players each year of the agreement.
"Papa John's is excited to be the Official Pizza of Orlando City Soccer Club," said Charles Peters, president of the Papa John's Orlando Co-op. "We are proud to be a partner for the next several years with both Orlando City Soccer Club and the Orlando City Youth Soccer organizations as the sport continues to grow here in Central Florida. Papa John's is ready to kick it off with some exciting promotions and a lot of fun for the fans and the community."
"We're delighted to partner with Papa John's to offer a fantastic promotion for fans after each win," said Orlando City Founder and President Phil Rawlins. "We look forward to working them for many years to come, as we continue to strengthen our brand heading into MLS."
