ORLANDO – June 22, 2015 – When Joe Flood of Kyle, South Dakota, purchased his tickets to Wednesday's match against the Colorado Rapids at the Orlando Citrus Bowl, he helped Orlando City SC reach a significant milestone. The Lions have now sold tickets in every one of the 50 states and Washington D.C. Moreover, the first year Major League Soccer (MLS) organization announced today that it has also sold tickets to its matches in 50 countries - placing the Lions in an exclusive 50-50 club!

Through their first eight MLS home games of the season, Orlando City has averaged 35,770 fans per game and has exceeded 40,000 in attendance twice. Including the friendly against Brazilian Serie A side Ponte Preta, the Lions have drawn nearly 300,000 fans to the Orlando Citrus Bowl. Orlando City has established itself as a major attraction for tourists and soccer fans alike, to the benefit of the entire Central Florida region.
Nearly 45,000 tickets have been sold for the international friendly between Mexico and Costa Rica. That match will take place Saturday, June 27 at the Orlando Citrus Bowl with a kickoff at 6:30 p.m. Tickets are available at www.ticketmaster.com.
Orlando City will return to league play on Wednesday, June 24, when the team hosts the Colorado Rapids at the Orlando Citrus Bowl. Kick-off is set for 7:30 p.m. ET.
