ORLANDO, Fla. – Dec. 18, 2015 – The Orlando Pride National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL) team and Orlando City B of the United Soccer League (USL) will host an open tryout to provide aspiring professional soccer players with an opportunity to be discovered by the two newest Clubs in Central Florida.
The tryouts will be held at Seminole Soccer Complex on January 16 for Orlando City B, and January 17 for Orlando Pride. Each day’s first session will begin at 9 a.m. ET. Participants are encouraged to register at:
- Orlando Pride: www.orlandocitysc.com/pride/tryouts
- Orlando City B: www.orlandocitysc.com/ocb/tryouts
For both days, walk-ups will not be guaranteed so interested players are strongly encouraged to pre-register online.
“As we continue to build our rosters for both the Pride and OCB, it’s important for us to explore every possible avenue to discover potential talent,” said Vice President of Development Tim Holt. “As an organization, we’ve seen some success during open tryouts, discovering exceptional talent for our former USL team such as standout midfielder and current academy youth coach Yordany Alvarez. We look forward to the sessions in January.”
