After notching two goals for the United States against Japan last Thursday, Alex Morgan added another in the USâs 2-0 victory over Japan on Sunday.
In the 62nd minute, Crystal Dunn curled a pass into a charging Morgan who finishes with a flash of the inside of her left boot to seal the deal for the United States.
The goal was Morgans 11th in her 11 international appearances so for this year. That includes four multi-goal games. With three goals against them in a weeks time, Morgan has now scored seven career goals against Japan - the most she has tallied against any country.
Sundayâs match concluded the latest international break which means Morgan, and all other Orlando Pride players away on national duty, will be back in action this weekend when the team heads to New York to take on the Flash on Saturday.
