Mexico defeats United States 3-2 in CONCACAF Cup
In one of the most exciting matches in CONCACAF history, Mexico defeated the United States 3-2 on Saturday night giving Mexico a berth in the 2017 Confederations Cup to be held in Russia. Bobby Wood scored an equalizer in the 108th minute for the United States, but ten minutes later, Mexicoā€™s Paul Aguilar volleyed a strong shot past US Goalkeeper Brad Guzan, ultimately giving El Tri the victory.

MLS to implement Instant Replay in 2016 friendly matches
Major League Soccer officials have announced that they will begin testing a ā€œvideo refereeā€ system which will be used in 10-15 noncompetitive friendlies during the 2016 season. The use of instant replay will be focused on penalty kicks, red cards, and goal decisions.

FC Dallasā€™ Fabian Castillo linked with Swansea City
FC Dallas midfielder, Fabian Castillo is being linked to a move to English Premier League side Swansea City. Castillo was capped with his first MLS All-Star appearance this season, and is now a steady player for the Colombian National Team. However, FC Dallas President Dan Hunt has denied the rumors, saying they would like to keep Castillo.
