Brek Shea's goaline clearance elicited a magnificent roar from the Orlando Citrus Bowl in the 68th minute of last Friday night's match against DC United. The play would find itself sitting at number four in SportsCenter's Top 10 plays that night, and this week, the MLS has taken notice.
Shea's heroics have been nominated for MLS Save of the Week. You don't often see an outfield player nominated, and Shea is the first to be among the finalists this season. Even opposing keeper Bill Hamid (who is nominated himself) endorsed his fellow US international.
