This year, Australia’s Westfield W-League will air its matches on ESPN3. With many NWSL players in the league, this gives fans an awesome opportunity to keep up with their favorite players during the NWSL offseason.
Five players who appeared from the Orlando Pride in their inaugural season have either signed with or are on loan to W-League teams. Australian internationals Laura Alleway and Steph Catley will return to Melbourne City FC, where they won the championship last season. Brazilian international Monica will join Adelaide United, while Maddy Evans is playing her first season in the W-League with Brisbane Roar FC. Forward Jasmyne Spencer signed with Canberra United.
