ORLANDO, Fla. (July 27, 2022) - Following a historic 5-1 victory over the New York Red Bulls on Wednesday night, Orlando City is set to host the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup Final on Wednesday, Sept. 7 at Exploria Stadium. Tickets for the match, which will mark the first-ever cup final for the Lions at Exploria Stadium, are set to go on sale tomorrow, Thursday, July 28.
The trophy-determining match is set to kick off at 8 p.m. ET. Orlando will host the winner of tonight’s Sporting Kansas City (MLS) vs. Sacramento Republic FC (USL Championship), which kicked off at 10:30 p.m. ET on ESPN+.

The Final will mark the Lions’ participation in their first U.S. Open Cup Final in Club history and their first match for a trophy in any competition in downtown Orlando. The match will serve as the second time the side has competed in a championship final of any kind, finishing as MLS is Back Tournament runner-ups in 2020 at ESPN Wide World of Sports.
