ORLANDO, Fla. (Feb. 11, 2025) – Today, the official Leagues Cup 2025 Phase One schedule was announced, including information on Orlando City SC’s three matches of the opening round, with all three contests taking place at Inter&Co Stadium.
All three of the Lions phase one matchups will take place against Liga MX sides, with Orlando City opening up its tournament slate against Pumas UNAM on Weds., July 30. The Lions will then host Atlas F.C. on Sat., Aug. 2 in a doubleheader, with Orlando City and Atlas facing off in one match and Pumas taking on Atlanta United at Inter&Co Stadium in the other match. City’s final match of the phase one will take place on Weds., Aug. 6 against Club Necaxa.
This year, Orlando City Season Ticket Members will receive tickets to all three phase one matches as a part of their membership, adding an additional match of benefits from previous editions of the competition. Fans interested in purchasing season tickets can find more details here.

Leagues Cup 2025 will feature 36 clubs total, including all 18 LIGA MX teams, and 18 qualifying MLS teams. The top nine teams in each MLS Conference (Eastern Conference and Western Conference) who participated in the Audi MLS Cup Playoffs from the prior season will qualify.
New for this year, Leagues Cup 2025 will be played in two rounds: Phase One and the Knockout Rounds. Phase One will feature three consecutive match dates per club to be played between July 29-August 7, and all 54 Phase One matches will be played between MLS and LIGA MX clubs.
The MLS and LIGA MX regular seasons will continue play through the month of August, with most Leagues Cup knockout matches played midweek.
