ORLANDO – September 3, 2015 – Orlando City SC (7-12-8, 29 points) will travel to face the New England Revolution (10-9-7, 37 points) at Gillette Stadium on Saturday, Sept. 5, in a marquee Eastern Conference fixture as the race for a playoff berth intensifies.
The game will broadcast live on FOX 35 and Sun Sports. In addition, the match will be transmitted in English on Real Radio 104.1 FM and in Spanish on La Grande 1030 AM.
"We're at that stage of the season now where every game is that much more important," said head coach Adrian Heath. "What I do know, after 30 years in the game, is that I'd rather have points on the board rather than games in hand. I thought we could win all of our remaining home games, but we didn't do that on Saturday. So, we're going to have to come up with a big win on the road because I still think we're capable of winning the games at home against New York and against Montreal."
Currently sitting in the final playoff spot in the East, Orlando City ventures to Foxborough, Massachusetts, after drawing the Chicago Fire 1-1 in a rain-soaked contest at the Orlando Citrus Bowl last weekend. After going down early in the game to the Fire, City responded late in the first half when Cyle Larin forced an own-goal from defender Eric Gehrig while battling for Lewis Neal's clipped ball into the box. Saturday's fixture will mark the second meeting between both clubs, after previously facing each other at the Orlando Citrus Bowl on May 8.

Despite falling behind 2-0 to the Revolution, a valiant second-half performance from City resulted in a dramatic 2-2 draw, as Cyle Larin's finish and Aurélien Collin's stoppage time header brought things level.
Orlando City ranks sixth in goals scored away from home with 15 finishes in enemy territory, while New England has taken the second fewest shots in the league in 2015.
Nevertheless, the Revolution have been in strong form as of late, going unbeaten in the previous five fixtures (4-0-1, 13 points), recently defeating the Philadelphia Union 1-0 and the Houston Dynamo 2-0.
The Revolution will also miss a key player for international duty, with Designated Player Jermaine Jones' call-up to the U.S. Men's National Team. The team is led in scoring by forward Charlie Davies and midfielder Kelyn Rowe tops the assist chart, creating six finishes so far this season.
