Orlando City announces 2027 MLS Sprint Season Schedule, presented by Orlando Health

ORLANDO, Fla. (Oct. 29, 2026) — Orlando City SC today announced its 2027 MLS Sprint Season schedule, presented by Orlando Health. The Lions will play seven of their 14 matches at Inter.co Stadium in their 13th season in Major League Soccer.

Information on single-match tickets for Orlando City’s 2027 MLS Sprint Season will be announced at a later date; fans are encouraged to sign up here to stay up to date. The Lions open the season Saturday, Feb. 20, against the New England Revolution at Inter.co Stadium (7 p.m. ET), continuing the club’s streak of opening every season in downtown Orlando since joining MLS in 2015. 

Orlando’s only meeting with intrastate rival Inter Miami CF comes Saturday, April 17, when the Lions host the Herons at 5 p.m. ET.  

The Lions close their home schedule Saturday, May 1, against New York City FC at Inter.co Stadium. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. ET, with the match available on Apple TV. 

Orlando will alternate between home and road matches throughout the season. The Lions will welcome New England, Toronto FC, Columbus Crew, Nashville SC, Inter Miami CF, Philadelphia Union and New York City FC to Inter.co Stadium.  

On the road, Orlando will face Chicago Fire FC, FC Cincinnati, Red Bull New York, D.C. United, Atlanta United FC, CF Montréal and Charlotte FC.

Every match of the MLS 2027 Sprint Season will be available on Apple TV in more than 100 countries and regions, offering fans a single destination to watch their favorite teams with no blackouts. 

The 2027 MLS Sprint Season will kick off the weekend of February 19-21 and culminate in the Audi 2027 MLS Cup Playoffs and 2027 MLS Cup presented by Audi on Memorial Day Weekend in May. During the Sprint Season, each MLS club will face its 14 conference opponents once, playing seven matches at home and seven on the road. 

In addition to crowning an MLS Cup champion, the 2027 MLS Sprint Season will also have international competition implications, determining qualification for the 2028 Concacaf Champions Cup and 2028 Leagues Cup. 

2027 MLS Sprint Season – By the Numbers: 

• All teams will play 14 regular-season games. 

• Each team will play its 14 conference opponents one time 

• All teams will play seven home games and seven away games in the regular season. 

• The top eight teams from the Eastern Conference and the top eight teams from the Western Conference will qualify for the Audi MLS Cup Playoffs. 

• One team will be crowned MLS Cup champion. 

• Five Concacaf Champions Cup berths will be determined by 2027 MLS Sprint Season results. 

• 18 teams will qualify for Leagues Cup, nine from each conference.
