ORLANDO, Fla. (March 13, 2017) - Orlando City SC defender Seb Hines underwent successful arthroscopic surgery on his right knee Thursday at Orlando Health, the Club's official medical care provider and jersey sponsor. Hines is expected to miss roughly six weeks.
"Seb's surgery went very smoothly and with no complications," said Daryl C. Osbahr, MD, Chief of Sports Medicine at Orlando Health and Orlando City SC team doctor. "We expect his recovery to go well and to have him back on the field as soon as possible."
Hines has been a mainstay defender for the Lions during their first two years in Major League Soccer. The Englishman made 44 appearances among 49 starts in 2015 and 2016 and scored four goals.
