Space Coast Alliance event, Tailgating with the Pros, took place this past Thursday, May 30th at Crossing River Sports Club, an indoor multi sport facility on the Space Coast in Rockledge. Orlando City players, Luke Boden, Johnny Mendoza, Anthony Pulis and Rob Valentino were able to volunteer some of their soccer knowledge to the children in attendance. Meanwhile, City sales staff members John Cochol and Brooke Hendry arrived with plenty of OC swag!
The event kicked off at 5pm, with Space Coast Alliance hosting a Tailgating party in the parking lot of the Crossing River Sports Club Indoor Facility, providing free hot dogs, water and shaved ice to all! Orlando City Soccer Club/ Premiere Soccer Stars Joined the Space Coast Alliance at 6pm for a Free Mini Clinic followed by an autograph and photo session at 7:30.
Premier Soccer Stars was happy with the event, which was able to cater to approximately forty kids.
"The players were outstanding especially with the little kids. The parents I spoke with were really pleased", said Kirk Chin, Operations Director of Premiere Soccer Stars.
"We GREATLY appreciate the players and sales staff for making the trip to the Space Coast, they were so patient & Wonderful with the kids", commented Scott Stella Founder of Space Coast Alliance.
The most memorable moment came in from Grandparent George Corsones, of Winter Springs, "My grandson told me this is the Best Florida Vacation Ever". Orlando City was happy to be apart of such wonderful event. Thanks to all of the participants for allowing us to have such a Great Day!
