ORLANDO, Fla. (March 28, 2023) – Orlando City SC has announced its promotional calendar for the 2023 MLS regular season, with the Club hosting a total of eight theme nights at Exploria Stadium.
The events open with Orlando City Sea Cows Night on April 1 vs. Nashville SC, with a number of other activations throughout the campaign, including Pride in our City on June 10 against the Colorado Rapids.
On April Fool’s Day Orlando City will bring back a fan-favorite prank from its past and turn it into a reality, as the Lions transform into the Orlando City Sea Cows. City will wear a limited-edition Sea Cows warm-up top before the match, with a limited-edition merchandise line available for purchase at the Den.
The Lions will also host their Military Appreciation Night on Aug. 26 in the Club’s first meeting with 2023 expansion side St. Louis CITY FC before continuing to Kick Childhood Cancer on Sept. 16 against the Columbus Crew.
Fans attending the matches will have the opportunity to purchase specialty merchandise items, such as t-shirts, CITYiD patches and unique jersey customizations, specialty apparel collections and more.

Sat., April 1 vs. Nashville SC (7:30 p.m.)

Pride in our City
Sat., June 10 vs. Colorado Rapids (7:30 p.m.)
Orlando City is set celebrate those in the vibrant and strong LGBTQ+ community of Orlando, recognizing the seven-year remembrance of the 49 Angels of the Pulse shooting. The match will begin a weekend of the Club’s celebration of LGBTQ+ pride, with more details to be announced.
Americana Night, presented by Pepsi Zero Sugar
Tues., July 4 vs. Toronto FC (7:30 p.m.)
Celebrate Independence Day at Exploria Stadium with a Fourth of July jamboree before the match at Mane Street Plaza, presented by Publix and enjoy Orlando City’s annual post-match fireworks show.
Military Appreciation Night, presented by Heineken
Sat., Aug. 26 vs. St. Louis CITY FC (7:30 p.m.)
The Lions will honor those who have and continue to serve this country, dedicating this entire night to highlighting, celebrating and thanking local veterans and active-duty military.
Kick Childhood Cancer, presented by Orlando Health Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children
Sat., Sept. 16 vs. Columbus Crew (7:30 p.m.)
The annual MLS-wide campaign to raise awareness and fundraising efforts against childhood cancer will look a little different this year as the Club highlights pediatric cancer patients for the superheroes they truly are. Join City for its take on superhero night, where the brave kids battling cancer get to put on the mask and cape and stand alongside some of their favorite superheroes throughout pop culture.
Hispanic Heritage Night, presented by Walt Disney World
Sat., Sept. 30 vs. CF Montréal (7:30 p.m.)
Orlando City will celebrate National Hispanic Heritage Month and the Latin cultures of Central and South America represented both on the field, in the stands and throughout the many different parts of Central Florida! It will be a night filled with Hispanic-inspired music, food, games and more.
Fan Appreciation Night, presented by Publix
Sat., Oct. 7 vs. New England Revolution (7:30 p.m. ET)
The Club is excited to dedicate its final regular season home match to the fans that support it all year long. The Lions will celebrate what truly makes this Club special: the members of Lion Nation and all that they do to support the Club, with extra giveaways, prizes and fan-centric fun.
