ORLANDO – April 13, 2015 – Orlando City Soccer Club defender Brek Shea has been called up to the U.S. Men's National Team (USMNT) for the squad's friendly against Mexico on Wednesday, April 13.
Shea is one of 13 Major League Soccer (MLS) players to join head coach Jurgen Klinsmann's 22-man roster, marking his third consecutive call-up to the national team.
Kick-off for the match is scheduled for 8:30 p.m. ET at the Alamodome in San Antonio, Texas. The game will be broadcast live on FOX Sports 1, UniMas and Univision Deportes Network.
The recently converted left-back previously joined the USMNT in March for friendlies against Denmark and Switzerland, scoring a stunning free-kick against the Swiss moments before halftime. The goal was Shea's second in his last three starts with the United States.
