ORLANDO, Fla. (July 3, 2024) – Orlando City SC has signed goalkeeper Carlos Mercado to a short-term agreement from Orlando City B of MLS NEXT Pro, it was announced today. Mercado will be available for selection as the Lions are set to take on Toronto FC on Wednesday, July 3, at BMO Field.
Mercado has featured four times in net for OCB so far this campaign, making 16 saves to date and posting a 2-1-1 record across those four matches.
Orlando City B signed Mercado to an MLS NEXT Pro contract ahead of the 2024 season.
