ORLANDO, Fla. (March 15, 2023) — The Orlando Pride is set to kick off its eighth season in the National Women’s Soccer League on March 26, with the team traveling to face Portland Thorns FC at Providence Park. The following week, the team will return to the City Beautiful for its home opener, hosting Angel City FC on April 2 in a 5:30 p.m. kickoff.
Leading up to the match, the Club has announced 2023 Kickoff to Soccer events, building off of the previously held preseason match against Kansas City Current on February 23 and Season Ticket Member-exclusive Inside the Lines open training session and chalk talk on March 12.

“Scarf the City”, presented by Pepsi

Scarf The City, presented by Pepsi, returns for the fourth time in Club history, creating the ultimate surprise-and-delight scavenger hunt for Pride fans. Over 1,000 scarves will be distributed across Central Florida, with the Club picking iconic locations in the community to scatter and hide the scarves for fans to find.
On the morning of Mar. 29, fans will be able to use social media to pinpoint scarf locations and share their finds using #PepsiScarfTheCity. Those who snag a scarf will receive an exclusive ticket deal for the Pride’s home opener on Apr. 2 and will have the opportunity to win special prizes, courtesy of Pepsi.
Home Opener vs. Angel City FC, presented by Orlando Health

The Orlando Pride kick off the 2023 home season on April 2, hosting 2022 expansion side Angel City FC at Exploria Stadium. The match will kick off at 5:30 p.m. ET and will mark the City Beautiful debut for first-year Head Coach Seb Hines and the reinvigorated Orlando Pride roster. With a slate of key returning players, such as Marta, Erika Tymrak and Viviana Villacorta, the side also features exciting newcomers like 2023 draft picks Emily Madril, Messiah Bright and Summer Yates, and blockbuster signing Adriana.
