Orlando City Academy players Mario Licor, Allen Seals and Alejandro Pereira were called up by U.S. U-15 Boys’ National Team head coach John Hackworth for a week-long domestic training camp from Nov. 1-8 at IMG Academy in Bradenton, Fla. – once again showcasing the effective talent development provided by the Lions’ Academy.

The Orlando City U-16 players will participate in intrasquad games on Nov. 3rd, 5th and 7th.

This will be Licor’s fourth camp with the national team, previously participating in two domestically and one internationally. The skillful left forward managed to find the back of the net 21 times in 32 games this season for City’s U-16s.

Seals, who received his first call-up, provides versatility to the national team, with the ability to play as a center midfielder or center back. ‘AJ’ possesses a great technical foundation and a good understanding of the game. Seals starred in 29 games, scoring three goals.

Alejandro Pereira, who is also being called-up for the first time, is a lethal center forward that has demonstrated his scoring touch in the past two years, with the young Lion finding the back of the net 38 times in 36 games played.

Besides currently playing their first year as U-16s, Licor, Seals and Pereira played up in this age group while being a part of the U-15s last year – making an impact in important games of the Generation adidas Cup.
