The Lions will head to Toronto for the second time this month for Saturday’s critical Eastern Conference tilt. Toronto FC will be without USMNT stars Michael Bradley and Jozy Altidore, while Orlando City will be without midfielder Darwin Cerén. City trails TFC by just three points in the standings, so a win would put the Lions right back in the playoff hunt.
The Venue
Toronto FC plays their games at BMO Field, a 30,991-seat open-air stadium. They have several recognized supporter groups, including the Red Patch Boys, U-Sector, Inebriatti, and Kings in the North. Toronto FC plays the 401 Derby against the Montreal Impact, their biggest rival. They also compete with the Columbus Crew for the Trillium Cup. BMO Field has several public transportation options to make getting there easier, including Bathurst Streetcar #511, Harbourfront Streetcar #509, or the #29 Dufferin Bus.
