The U11 Boys White I team faced the U11 Boys ACYS United Blue team on October 18 at Trotters Park. The White I team moved ahead first in the match after Jeremiah Isaak tucked away Carson Law’s assist. Shortly afterward, the Lions doubled their advantage when Mathew Pagliaro found the back of the net.
However, ACYS would fight back to score two unanswered goals, leveling the score-line heading into halftime. City continued its strong attacking play in the opening portion of the second period, moving ahead 4-2 with goals from Christian Schneider and Jack Corsi.
Nevertheless, with one minute remaining in the match, ACYS once again managed to equalize – resulting in a 4-4 final score. The U11’s ability to bounce back after each ACYS equalizer showcases their development since the beginning of the season.
