TAMPA, Fla. – United Soccer Leagues is pleased to announce that more than 80 live games from the 2012 USL PRO season will be available online through USL Live, the popular online video destination launched in 2007 to make USL matches more accessible to its fans.
This first phase of the USL Live prelaunch includes an updated platform that will allow greater social sharing functionality of all content as USL Live will move to UNATION, an events and branding network set to launch in May, 2012. All USL Live broadcasts can be viewed at www.usllive.com.
Through USL Live on UNATION, fans will have the ability to chat and interact during live game broadcasts. During the coming weeks USL Live will develop into an innovative, comprehensive social hub that will bring together USL, teams, players, and the fans in an exciting online community. Additional announcements about USL's new online initiatives will be made during the opening weeks of the 2012 USL PRO season.
The first scheduled live game webcast will take place Friday, April 6, as Antigua Barracuda FC host the Pittsburgh Riverhounds in the start of the 2012 USL PRO season.
Several additional games will be seen on USL Live during the next two weekends as USL PRO Kickoff 2012 continues.
USL PRO clubs planning to stream their home games live in 2012 include Antigua Barracuda FC, Charleston Battery, Dayton Dutch Lions, Los Angeles Blues, Orlando City, Rochester Rhinos and Wilmington Hammerheads.
In addition to live games and full-length game archives, USL Live will continue highlighting the teams and personalities throughout USL’s pyramid of youth, amateur and professional leagues with highlights, interviews and short-form features.
USL Live made its debut in 2007 and centers on providing compelling video content for fans, both live and on-demand. This broadband network is completely free to viewers and all videos may be linked, shared, or embedded through unlimited web platforms.
USL Pro
