Since making her debut in 2010 with FC Gold Pride, Edwards, 27, has made over 120 appearances at the professional level, playing for various clubs in the United States and in Europe.
Edwards’ honors include a WPS Championship with Western New York Flash in 2011 and Community Player of the Year in 2013 for her community service in the Portland area, while featuring as a member of the Portland Thorns.
At the international level, Edwards received her first call-up to the U.S. Women’s National Team training camp roster in November 2011, after an extensive career at the youth national team levels. Her national team accolades include a gold medal as a member of the U.S. U-20 Women’s National Team that captured the FIFA Youth World Cup championship in Chile.
