In the first match under interim Head Coach Bobby Murphy, the Lions will have a different look as they take on DC United in the round of 16 in the U.S. Open Cup.
For the first time this season Orlando City will be in a 3-4-3. During the week, Murphy talked about how change can be a positive.
“Whether you’re an adult or you’re a child or whatever, sometimes you need new things to get the neurons firing again and to re-engage,” said Murphy. “I think the same old same old becomes routine so we’ll see what happens with that.”
Lamine Sané will make his return to the lineup after battling a lower body injury. He’ll be paired with Tarek and Spector on the backline.
Starting XI presented by Orlando Health: Edwards Jr., Tarek, Sané, Spector, El-Munir, Higuita, Kljestan, Allen, Meram, Mueller, Pinho.
Bench: Bendik, Johnson, Laryea, Rocha, Colmán, Sutter, Villarreal
