ORLANDO, Fla. (Jan. 21, 2020) — Ahead of the 2021 MLS SuperDraft presented by adidas, Orlando City SC moved up in the draft, acquiring the No. 8 selection from Portland Timbers. In exchange, the Lions will send a total of $100,000 in General Allocation Money to the Timbers — $75,000 in 2021 and $25,000 in 2022.
Following the trade, City now holds the No. 8, No. 19, No. 22 and No. 49 selections.
