It was another clean sweep for Orlando City Academy teams this past weekend, headlined by a stunning 11-0 result for the Orlando City U23s.
Sebastian Bastidas and Martin Vician both notched a hat trick while William DeKnight scored a brace in the dominant win over Cloud County SC. Brian Lopez, Moises Tablante, and Gustavo Curiel rounded out the scoring.
The U23s will go on the road to face Inter Jax FC this Saturday.
The U17 side defeated Miami Rush Kendall SC 3-1, with Jacob Lenhard scoring in the first five minutes of the match to get the Lions going. Ethan Subachan converted a penalty to put Orlando City up 2-0 and Alejandro Nasato would finish the scoring with another penalty kick near the end of the match.
The U15s were up against it against Kendall, trailing 1-0 most of the way after conceding an early penalty. But substitute Majed Abdullah provided a major spark, scoring twice off the bench to lift the Lions to a comeback victory.
