SEATTLE, Wash. (Nov. 1, 2026) – The Orlando Pride (11-16-4, 37 points) fell 1-0 to Seattle Reign FC (14-11-5, 47 points) at Lumen Field on Sunday afternoon in the final match day of the 2026 NWSL regular season.
The sides played a tightly contested opening half, with both clubs neutralizing each other's opportunities in the attacking third. Defender Oihane made a crucial goal-line clearance on Nerilia Mondésir’s header in the 17th minute, while Cosette Morché made a key save from close range on Jess Fishlock’s shot in the 43rd minute to keep the match scoreless heading into halftime.
Coming out of the break, Seattle found the breakthrough in the 68th minute from a corner kick, with Jordan Bugg reacting first to a loose ball in the box and slotting home to pull ahead.
The Pride now enter the offseason ahead of the resumption of league play in February 2027.

Orlando Pride Interim Head Coach Yolanda Thomas:
“What sticks with me is the resilience of the players to continue to show up every day. Staff and players. We know we didn’t achieve the outcome that’s expected of this club. We know we didn’t achieve the outcomes that we expect of each other, but there was no shortage of players choosing to dig deep and show up every day in the building and every day on game day.”

“As always, I am sad to lose. But I think the team did a great job. It's going to be good for us to get into the offseason, reset and begin preparing for next season."
