The Story:
- The Pride enter the match looking to extend its goal scoring streak to 13 straight games to start the season, but will be up against the challenge of the Courage who have only allowed one goal to be scored on their home turf. The Pride will also try and hand the Courage its first home loss of the season and reach nine wins on the year so far.
- With a 1-1 draw against the Wave, the Pride extended their unbeaten streak to start the 2024 NWSL season to 12 games.
- The Orlando Pride and North Carolina Courage face off for the second time this season. Orlando took the 4-1 victory at INTER&Co Stadium in May, with forward Barbra Banda scoring a brace and picking up an assist on the night.
Quote of the Week:
“The results from them have shown is that it's a tough place to go and get points. They’re unbeaten, won every game there and we expect nothing less than a tough game. We’ll go out there and we’ll give everything like we have done in every game. We want to bounce back from an almost disappointing result away at San Diego; we know we can play better than that. So, we’ll be going there looking for a win.”
- Head Coach Seb Hines
