The Orlando City SC purple kit is one of the more recognizable uniforms in American soccer, and there’s a story behind the famous Lion’s head crest. Supporters have proudly donned Orlando City purple since the beginning; making it more than a color, because it defines us and makes us unique in the North American soccer landscape.

Newcastle United, 1996/97 Home Kit
Can’t go wrong with black and white color combination, but this famous kit is especially recognizable for its sponsor, Newcastle Brown Ale. It just makes sense.
Cameroon, 2013 National Team Kit
The Cameroon National Team has become known for sleek, edgy soccer kits. Notice the faded lion in the background - a tribute to the national team nickname, Les Lions Indomptables, or, The Untameable Lions.
Juventus, 2011/12 Away Kit

Orlando City, 2011 Red Kit
2011 was Orlando City’s first year of existence as the Lions would go on to dominate the USL Pro for three years before being awarded as a MLS expansion franchise. City won the USL Pro Championship in 2011 wearing these dark-red kits. The story behind them is what makes it such a rare look. The team wanted to wear purple kits for the season, but Umbro could not provide the color so the team opted for red.

2017 MLS All-Star Kit
In some ways, a tribute to those memorable ‘94 World Cup jerseys, but with a modern spin. These adidas concept kits were worn last season when Kaká and the MLS All-Stars took on Real Madrid in the annual All-Star game. If you look closely, you can see maple leaves mingled in with the stars along the right torso of the kit, recognizing the Canadian clubs now competing in MLS.
