The U-20 World Cup in South Korea kicked off this week. The U.S roster features nine MLS players-- they found a 3-3 draw in their match on Monday against Ecuador. They will play their next match at 7:00am Eastern Time on Thursday morning against Senegal. Venezuela, which features New York City FC midfielder Yangel Herrera, has already qualified for the knockout round with two wins in their first two matches.
Portland Timbers, Seattle Sounders Struggle Before Cascadia Cup
The Portland Timbers and the Seattle Sounders will play the Cascadia Cup this weekend in Seattle. The annual matchup is a big deal between these two rival clubs, but both sides find themselves in a bit of a slump heading into the match. They have the potential to be one of the strongest teams in the league, but they will have to figure out how to win on the road.
