This Sunday, Orlando City takes on the Philadelphia Union after a resounding 4-1 victory against the Portland Timbers. Here is a list of potential impact players to consider for your DraftKings roster.
Haven’t tried DraftKings? It’s easy. Each player is given a salary cap of $50,000 to draft their eleven player lineup. Players’ salaries are determined by their on-field performance, FPPG, or Fantasy Points Per Game.
Orlando City Players to Look For:
Brek Shea DEF - 6.4 FPPG $5,700 - Shea returns home to Dallas where he tallied an 11 goal season in 2011. With Kaká’s return to the lineup, look for Shea to have more space than usual on the left side. Remember, it was his connection with the captain that lead to his incredible goal against the Timbers early in the season. Bet on Brek to break out of his scoring slump on Monday night.
Kaká MID - 12.9 FPPG $9,600 - Against Toronto FC you saw what makes Kaká so valuable. His touch, vision, pace, and leadership put him and others in positions to succeed. With a long recovery ahead of Monday’s match, look for Kaká to be fresh and on form in his second game back from injury. FC Dallas will do their best to limit him, but so does everyone else and it tends to not always go as planned.
Kevin Molino MID - 13.2 FPPG $5,900 - Molino looked brilliant in Orlando City’s midweek Open Cup match before being sent off on a red card. Luckily for City, that card won’t carry over to MLS play and Molino will have a chance to continue his good form. His ability and pace on and off the ball creates massive problems for opposing defenses. Just look at his goal on Wednesday where he dribbles through the defense before casually chipping the keeper. He’ll be an exciting player to watch on the 4th of July.
