Orlando City welcomes the East-leading Montréal Impact on Saturday in a matchup of Eastern Conference offensive powerhouses. We’ve got your fantasy scouting covered.
Haven’t tried DraftKings? It’s easy. Each player is given a salary cap of $50,000 to draft their eleven-player lineup. Player salaries are determined by their on-field performance, FPPG, or Fantasy Points Per Game.
Orlando City Players to Watch:
Cyle Larin - 11.2 FPPG $6,900 – Larin scored 3 goals in the first 3 games of the season, proof that his record-breaking rookie season was just the beginning of a great career. With all the touches he’s been getting lately, the reigning MLS Rookie of the Year is bound for an offensive explosion, and this week looks to be the perfect time to strike.
Joe Bendik - 4.9 FPPG $3,900 - Facing 34 shots is daunting for any team, but only allowing 2 is a pretty impressive accomplishment. Bendik looks to continue his season of saves against the aggressive offense of the Montréal Impact and, by all signs, he’s set to shut them down.
Seb Hines - 5.4 FPPG $3,300 - Hines returns from injury this week after sitting out versus Sporting KC. Look for Hines to make an impact not only on defense, but when in the box for corners against Montreal.
Around the League:
Bradley Wright-Phillips- 10.8 FPPG $7,400 - Last year’s New York Red Bulls-New York City FC matchups were dominated by Wright-Phillips. The Englishman scored in each match for the Red Bulls, so be on the lookout for him to make a statement in this week’s rivalry game.
Chris Pontius - 9 FPPG $5,100 - The former D.C. United attacking midfielder now playing for the Philadelphia Union finds himself on the other side of a deepening rivalry. With 4 goals this season, Pontius has scored almost a third of his team’s goals. No doubt that a meeting with his old squad will lead to something special on the pitch.
