To honor Hispanic Heritage Month, Honduran striker Bryan Róchez shared a list of songs that he listens to prior to every game.
As you can see, Róchez gets pumped with this list of ‘reggaeton’ songs, but he says that he frequently listens to music from his native country.
‘La pantera’ (The Panther) Róchez, 20, is one of Orlando City’s brightest young stars. He netted the winning goal against Sporting KC in a key match last Sunday and previously found the back of the net against Brazilian Serie A side Ponte Preta and English Premier League team West Bromwich Albion.
Róchez says he feels very comfortable in Orlando, in large part because of his teammates.
“I would say that we are like the ‘fantastic four,’ between Cristian (Higuita), Carlitos Rivas, Darwin (Cerén) and I. We are the ‘fantastic four’ I would say, that’s what we call each other, that’s what I call the four of us,” he said.
Originally from Tegucigalpa, he joined the Club as one of the youngest Designated Players in the history of Major League Soccer.
Róchez came to Orlando from Honduran side Real España, where he scored 31 goals in 65 games and won the Honduran National League in 2013.
The Lions attacker also represented his country in several stages, starring in the U-17, U-20, U-21, U-23 and the Honduran senior team – including appearances in the FIFA U-20 World Cup New Zealand 2015, where he scored two goals and forced an own-goal in three games.
