(Sept. 7, 2023) – Orlando City B (12-10-4, 41 points) picked up a point on the road against New England Revolution II (14-5-8, 56 points) after equalizing the match in the 65th minute resulting in a 1-1 scoreline during regulation, before ultimately falling in the end-of-regulation penalty shootout.
Forward Jack Lynn tallied his 18th goal of the 2023 season and now leads all of MLS NEXT Pro, surpassing NYCFC II’s Matt Myers for the league’s Golden Boot Award. Lynn’s goal also served as the first goal scored against the Revolution in their last three matches, ending the New England side’s clean sheet streak.
