Forward Moises Tablante found the back of the net over the weekend for Orlando City B for the second time in as many matches, firing home a shot into the roof of the net from the left edge of the area. Tablante’s two goals on the year is tied for second on the side with four others, with both of his finishes earning MLS NEXT Pro Goal of the Week nominations.
First in Purple
Orlando City B midfielder Jhon Solís tallied his first goal contribution as a Lion over the weekend, earning the assist on the Tablante first half finish. Solís is one of three Lions to have started every match in the 2023 campaign, sitting at third on the side in minutes played with 564, behind only goalkeeper Javier Otero and defender Nabi Kibunguchy.
On the Front Foot
The Lions found the back of the net twice last Friday at Mecklenberg County Sportsplex, the sixth time this season they have scored multiple goals in a single match.
