Scoring Summary:

16’ Tyler Hall (Bailey Sparks) – MIA 1, ORL 0
The earliest goal Orlando City B has given up all season came off the foot of Inter Miami CF II defender Tyler Hall on a free kick opportunity. Forward Idoh Zeltzer-Zubida curved the ball into the box to midfielder Bailey Sparks, who then tipped it to Hall before the defender drilled the ball right down the middle of the goal to open the scoring on the night.

23’ Tahir Reid-Brown (Dyson Clapier, Riyon Tori) – ORL 1, MIA 1
Just seven minutes later, defender Tahir Reid-Brown was able to find the equalizer for the Lions. A deflection in front of the Inter Miami goal saw the ball bounce right to midfielder Riyon Tori who then slid a pass across the 18-yard box to forward Dyson Clapier. Clapier then fed the ball just outside the top of the box to Reid-Brown who rocketed it past several Miami defenders and into the bottom right corner of the net to level things up.

44’ Mateo Saja (Bailey Sparks) – MIA 2, ORL 1
In the final minutes of the first half, Inter Miami II struck to retake the lead. After making a run down the left flank, midfielder Bailey Sparks fired a low cross to the near post to forward Mateo Saja who redirected it off his back heel and into the right side of the net for the Herons’ second of the match.

55’ Idoh Zeltzer-Zubida (Santiago Morales) – MIA 3, ORL 1
Inter Miami CF II extended their lead early in the second half with a goal from forward Idoh Zeltzer-Zubida. The Miami forward received the ball on the left side, just outside the 18-yard box, before cutting in and curling the ball into the top right corner of the net, just off the fingertips of OCB goalkeeper Carlos Mercado, to put Inter Miami CF II up by two goals.

90+11’ Shak Mohammed (Penalty Kick) – MIA 3, ORL 2
The Lions got one back late in second-half stoppage time to cut the lead to one. Defender Zakaria Taifi drew a penalty after being fouled in the Miami box. Shak Mohammed then stepped up to the spot and fired the ball into the bottom right corner of the net to get OCB within a goal late in the match.
