Match Report: Orlando City B falls 1-0 to Chattanooga FC

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (July 27, 2024) – Orlando City B (4-6-8, 24 points) dropped the second game of its road trip, 1-0, to Chattanooga FC (7-6-6, 31 points) at Finley Stadium on Saturday night. The shutout broke a streak of 14-straight matches with at least one goal scored by the Lions.

Defender Luca Petrasso was inserted into the starting lineup for his 2024 MLS NEXT Pro season debut, the Canadian’s first appearance in purple since spending first half of the season on loan. It also marked his second career OCB appearance and start, his first since May 2023 against FC Cincinnati II.

The Lions will make their first trip in Club history to Truist Point to take on Carolina Core FC on Saturday, August 3. That matchup will kick off at 7:30 p.m. ET and will air on MLS Season Pass on Apple TV.

After dribbling through several Lions’ defenders, McGrath took a shot from just outside the box that snuck past goalkeeper Carlos Mercado into the bottom corner.
